In this quiz, when I was redoing the problem, I am still running into a problem when deciding if it is negitive or a positive 1/3. I was wondering if you could explain how you get the negitive in front for y double dot and y.
It is because the y double dot and y are positive until you solve for T by dividing by -3. I might not understand the question but it is difficult to both those operations in one step and avoid any sign errors.
